The Social Sports Guidance and Management major aims to cultivate mid to high end applied talents who can adapt to the needs of sports socialization and industrialization in China, possess basic theories, knowledge, and skills of social sports, and engage in leisure sports and fitness skill guidance, scientific fitness consulting, organization and management of mass leisure and fitness activities, and business development in various levels and types of leisure sports venues, fitness clubs, and other fields.
Currently, under the guidance of the pursuit of high-quality and healthy living by the people and the implementation of the Healthy China development strategy, the sports and health industry occupies an important position in the industrial structure of the national economy, forming new industries and formats in the national economy and sports field. This has also given rise to new professions and positions closely related to the social sports profession, which urgently require a large number of social sports guidance and management workers.
2. Training objectives
This major mainly connects with the mass health and sports service industry clusters in Guangdong and the Guangdong Hong Kong Greater Bay Area, focusing on the overall development of morality, intelligence, physical fitness, aesthetics and labor, possessing patriotism, healthy personality, international perspective, craftsmanship spirit and innovation ability, mastering the basic principles and methods of sports, proficiently using mass fitness techniques and methods to guide and manage social sports, and possessing composite applied talents with comprehensive abilities such as competition, training, performance, management, and sales.
3. Knowledge and Ability

The school library has a relatively rich collection of professional books and digital resources, including 86432 paper books related to business management, 25917 electronic books, and a large number of international and domestic economic and management journals and magazines, with an average of 114.94 books per student, which can meet teaching needs.
