The major aligns with the industries in the Greater Bay Area, following the OBE concept of "student-centered, output-oriented, and continuous improvement." The talent training program and curriculum system are constructed closely based on industrial needs, with collaborative training between the government, school, and enterprises.
"1+X" Certificate Training: Emphasis is placed on the teaching arrangement and ability training for students to obtain "graduation certificates + vocational qualifications." Students are required to obtain the "junior accountant" certificate during their undergraduate studies, providing basic professional competency certification for graduation employment. Through four years of professional learning and skill training, they lay the foundation for obtaining certificates such as intermediate and senior accountants, certified public accountants, and tax agents in the future. This prepares students with the knowledge and abilities for sustainable career development.
Deep School-Enterprise Collaboration Training Model: The professional and technical characteristics of the accounting major require graduates to possess certain practical experience and corresponding "professional judgment abilities." The school's "3+1" talent training model provides students with more internship and practical opportunities. Adhering to the principles of "combining on-campus learning with enterprise practice, combining work with learning, and combining learning with employment," students are able to deeply engage in real professional environments to "learn by doing." Jointly developing 2 to 4 school-enterprise "dual" courses with enterprises, the participation of enterprise mentors in practical teaching has achieved significant results.
Interdisciplinary Ability Training: Based on the requirements of artificial intelligence, blockchain, and big data for accounting teaching, cross-disciplinary courses will be introduced to cultivate students' interdisciplinary abilities. Students are required to be familiar with domestic and international accounting standards and related financial laws and regulations, adapting to the knowledge requirements of professional positions. They must also possess knowledge and abilities in business-finance integration and cross-border integration, adapting to the ability requirements for accounting professionals under the development trends of "big business" and "big data."
