Automation major is based on automatic control theory as the main theoretical basis, electronic technology, computer technology, sensor and detection technology as the main technical means, the implementation of automatic control of various automation devices and systems, computer hardware and software combination, mechanical and electronic combination, component and system combination, operation and manufacturing combination. Set control science and technology, computer science and technology, electronics and communication technology, electrical engineering, information and system science related engineering and technology and other disciplines in one, multi-disciplinary integration of the wide caliber professional.

The automation industry has formed the most competitive strategic industry in the world today. The automation industry chain mainly includes three areas: first, intelligent manufacturing; Second, the transportation industry; And the petrochemical industry. Capable of engineering design, technology development, system operation and maintenance management, product sales and technical service in the fields of motion control, process control, intelligent manufacturing, intelligent control and other technical fields.
