The professional positions (groups) of artificial intelligence majors are mainly computer vision application development engineer, speech processing application development engineer, control system design and development engineer, etc.


Training objectives

This major is mainly aimed at the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and aims to cultivate the all-round development of morality, intelligence, physical fitness, the United States and labor. Students should have national feelings, healthy personality, international vision, craftsman spirit and innovation ability, master the basic theories and professional skills of artificial intelligence, have certain mathematical tool application and algorithm modeling, artificial intelligence programming, automatic control circuit design and other abilities, and have good comprehensive quality. Proficient in machine learning and deep learning technology, digital image processing technology, computer vision technology, natural language processing technology, embedded artificial intelligence and intelligent control technology, etc., with strong abilities in artificial intelligence algorithm application, deep neural network modeling, visual perception application and intelligent control system design. Can be engaged in intelligent service, intelligent control and intelligent inspection in the field of artificial intelligence product design, quality inspection, system maintenance, production management, product sales and after-sales technical service and other positions work.


Knowledge and ability

1. Engineering knowledge ability: systematically master natural science knowledge such as higher mathematics and engineering mathematics, subject basis, professional basis and professional knowledge of computer science, have a solid discipline foundation and a complete professional knowledge system, and can provide sufficient theoretical support for the analysis and solution of problems in the field of artificial intelligence.

2. Problem analysis ability: able to apply the basic principles of natural science and artificial intelligence technology science such as advanced mathematics and engineering mathematics, identify, describe and analyze practical engineering problems in the field of artificial intelligence,

and analyze practical engineering problems in the field of new information technology through literature research, in order to obtain a profound understanding of the corresponding practical engineering problems and draw effective conclusions.

3. Ability to design/develop solutions: fully understand the design requirements, design principles and design methods of integrated artificial intelligence systems or products. Be able to design solutions for practical engineering problems in the field of artificial intelligence, design intelligent products and systems that meet specific needs, be able to reflect the innovative consciousness of new information technology and artificial intelligence + in the design process, and consider the impact of artificial intelligence products on social, health, safety, law, culture and environment.

4. Ability of system integration and application research: Based on the scientific professional principles and scientific methods in the field of artificial intelligence, using the professional knowledge and ability learned, the application of actual intelligent system integration or research system in the field of artificial intelligence, including designing experiments, analyzing and interpreting whether the data is correct, and obtaining reasonable and effective conclusions on the research of artificial intelligence system through comprehensive information research.
