Representative from the University of Hawaii at Mānoa Visits Our University

On the afternoon of June 3, Dr. Mu Xiaoxin, Director of International Cooperation Affairs at the University of Hawaii at Mānoa, visited our university. Entrusted by President Yong Heming, Vice President Li Hongying met with Dr. Mu in the VIP reception room of Baiyun Building on the North Campus to discuss in-depth high-level cooperation projects between the two institutions. The discussions centered around international master's preparatory programs for engineering-related majors, 3+2 bachelor-master joint programs, 4+0 Sino-foreign cooperative education projects approved by the Ministry of Education, as well as faculty training and doctoral programs for teachers. The principal leaders from the International Exchange Office and the International College (combined office), along with researcher Jia Qiong from the Teacher Development Center, were also present at the meeting.

The University of Hawaii at Mānoa, established in 1907, is situated in Mānoa Valley, Honolulu, the capital of Hawaii, USA. Being the flagship institution of the University of Hawaii System, it is a public comprehensive research university that holds a rank of 386th in the QS World University Rankings 2024 and 170th in the US News Best Colleges 2024.
